2007 Harvest Gallery

With great anticipation, this fall's deer hunts have come and gone. What a whirlwind and great hunters we had in camp this year. The ranch produced it's first 200" Boone and Crockett buck. Corey Knolton from the Rockwall area took the 5 1/2 year old, 204 2/8 B&C giant with a bow from a Double Bull ground blind the 2nd day of his hunt. The hunt was filmed for television and should produce some great footage. There were also several great bucks in the 170-180 class filmed during the hunt that were not harvested this fall that will surely be monsters next fall. We are still planning a couple of cull buck hunts later this month and sheep season starts later this winter with hunts scheduled for ibex, red sheep, and aoudads.

We ended up taking 10 bucks in all, 5 trophy bucks, 2 mid-management bucks, and 3 management or big eights. With what we have seen that eluded us, next fall promises to be our best year yet.

Also a big thanks to my little brother, Scott, who took the time to show off his cooking skills and did a fantastic job keeping everybody's bellies full! Also helping out guiding were Lance "Pacman" Westman, Tim McCreary, and my nephew Ryan Walker. Both were a lot of help and a lot of fun to have in camp. We look forward to having this same staff in place for next year.

Several of this years hunters have secured spots for next year and with limited availability, the remaining hunts will be sold on a first come first serve basis.
